Langford Primary School and Olive House Day Centre were brought together by The Music Project  over the summer term in 2018. The children learnt about the Pearly Kings and Queens of London, learnt songs from the era and made their own Pearly King & Queen hats with the residents of Olive House Day Centre. A tea party was held at the end of June and a local historian from the Ragged Museum gave a talk to the children and care home residents about what life was like living in London in the time of the Pearly Kings & Queens.

Lisa Badau, the Year 1 Teacher at Langford Primary, said: "We really enjoyed the time spent with the Olive House residents and I am sure the children will remember it with great fondness".
