Past Projects.

At The Music Project, we’ve been involved in numerous projects over the last fifteen years, partnering with a wide variety of organisations. Predominantly in London and the South East, examples of our past projects and partners are listed below:

2007 - 2008

Music Reminiscence & Awards For All: Awards For All grant funding from The National Lottery enabled us to undertake a music and reminiscence project at ten care homes around London, which included two visits to each care home.

Brent Mencap Partnership: Over this period, we partnered with Brent Mencap to develop a range of programmes.

2009 

St Marks Church Project: We ran a pilot intergenerational session at St Marks Church.

Help a London Child (I) Project: We developed a music programme for autistic children at Fawood Children’s Centre.

Strictly Singing (I) Project: We developed and ran a partnership between Grange Primary School and Tower Bridge Care Home.

2010

Help a London child (II) Project: We developed a programme to work with disabled and autistic children and their carers at Treetops Nursery and Manor School.

Strictly Singing (II) Project: We set up and ran a partnership between Grange Primary School and Tower Bridge Care Home to deliver one of our intergenerational music programmes.

2011

Kenmont & Knowles House Project: We partnered with Kenmont Primary School and Knowles House Care Home to deliver one of our intergenerational music programmes.

Strictly Singing (III) Project: We partnered with Rye Oak Primary School and Cherrycroft Care Home to deliver one of our intergenerational music programmes.

Building Bridges Partnership: With funding from the Big Lottery Fund, we worked with Newfield Primary School and Knowles House Care Home to deliver one of our intergenerational music programmes.

2012

Ward Working Project: We worked with Newfield Primary School and Knowles House Care Home to deliver one of our intergenerational music programmes.

Pumphouse Funding: The Pumphouse Educational Trust provided funding to The Music Project to further our programme work.

2013

Bounds Green & Cherry Tree House Project: We set up a partnership and ran one of our intergenerational music programmes with Bounds Green School and Cherry Tree House Care Home.

2014 - 2016 

Performances for Dementia Project: We ran a range of instrumental harp performances for those living with dementia in care, including at Willesden Court, Craven Park Care Home, Homefields Park Royal, and Kenbrook.

Kenmont & Rosemary House Project: We set up and ran a partnership and intergenerational music programme with Kenmont Primary School and Rosemary House Care Home.

2017

Wendell Park Project: We worked with Wendell Park Primary School on the development of one of our music programmes.
